Rapper Snoop Dogg has signed on to perform at the Live Earth Hamburg concert in Hamburg, Germany Live Earth Founder Kevin Wall announced yesterday (May 23).
The chart-topping controversial rapper will perform along side artists like Sasha, Jan Delay, Chris Cornell, Michael Mittermeier and others during the Live Earth Hamburg concert.
Live Earth Hamburg is part of the 24-hour Live Earth concert series, which kicks off in Sydney, Australia on 07/07/07.
Concerts
will follow on all 7 continents including performances in Tokyo, Shanghai, Johannesburg, United Kingdom, Istanbul, and Rio de Janeiro, with the finale concert taking place in New York. "Music is an international language that has the power to move people," Live Earth Founder Kevin Wall said. "Live Earth's 24 hours of music spanning all 7 continents will move people in every corner of the planet to take action against global warming."

The Live Earth concert series features the world's top 100 acts, to inspire over two billion people to help combat the effects of global warming.
Other acts featured during the various concerts around the globe include Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Def Leppard, Genesis and others.
